Operating Systems

The license manager software is designed to work with most commonly used Microsoft® and Linux® based server distributions.

The license manager uses FlexNet Publisher® by Flexera Software®.

Note that these are the system requirements for the license manager only and not for the application itself.

Windows 32 bit systems

Windows Server 2016
Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2

Linux 64 bit systems (Intel x64)

Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® 5 and later 64 bit systems are fully supported
Other 64 bit Linux systems complying with Linux standard base (LSB) 3.0 are expected to function correctly but are not guaranteed

Cloud Based Virtual Servers

Amazon Web Services EC2

The license manager may be hosted on an Amazon Web Services EC2 system running Windows (see Windows system requirements above). Only WAN licenses are supported in this environment.

A fixed Elastic IP Address must be assigned to the server to which the license manager will be locked. To comply with the terms of the EULA you must ensure that security of the server is setup to deny access to users outside of your organisation.

Other Cloud Servers

No other cloud virtual server systems are currently supported.
