Exporting Graph Measurements

Here we present two scripts that allow you to export all displayed graph measurement values to other applications via the clipboard.

Note that you need the full production version of SIMetrix to use custom scripts.

Description

The two scripts copy measurment information to the clipboard in two different formats. "getmeas" copies the data as it is displayed in the waveform viewer. "getmeas_vals" formats the information in semi-colon delimited values and may be more useful for exporting to a spreadsheet.

Download and Install

  1. Download these files:
    getmeas.sxscr
    getmeas_vals.sxscr
  2. Copy the above files to your script directory. To find out where your script directory is, select menu File | Options | General then press File Locations tab. The script directory is the item labelled "Scripts". The scripts are now installed.

Operation

Type name of script without sxscr extension at the command line. The command line is the edit box below the menu bar in the command shell. This is not available in SIMetrix Intro.

Supported Versions

The scripts have been tested with version 5.1 to 5.4. But they are expected to function correctly with versions 3.1 and later.
